GRADUATE COUNCIL LA SEMILLA

The Graduate Council of La Semilla is an organization at California State University Fullerton targeted at graduate students. Our mission is to provide a support system for Latina/o and underrepresented students enrolled in graduate and professional programs at CSUF. In order to accomplish this, we have established the following goals:

- To serve as a networking organization for Latina/o graduate students, by establishing

- GCLS as a resource for students entities on campus committed to the retention and recruitment of Latina/o students, underrepresented graduate students, and alumni. . .

- As a collective we are a resource to one another by providing guidance and advice conserving graduate programs to current and prospective students.

- To work with other university entities to assure the creation of a graduate community environment both within and outside the classroom that fosters students' personal, academic, and professional development. - To provide workshops, guest speakers, meetings, cultural, social and political events, which may help the organization, meet its purpose and objectives.
